Adult Junior Star Skate

Registrants must have passed CanSkate Stage 6 and currently working on STAR 1-3.

Open to skaters born in 2008 or earlier

Classes run from September 2, 2026 to March 24th, 2027

               Please Note

• Every skater is responsible for purchasing a Skate Canada Membership & Safe Sport Fee which costs $63.70, you purchase it once and it covers all classes taken from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027.  This fee is automatically added to your cart at the check-out.  If you already have a Skate Canada Membership number from another Club (regardless of the year it was purchased), it is your responsibility to obtain the number and enter into our online registration system.  If the Skate Canada number is current, the $63.70 membership fee will be waived.

• There is a $75 MFSC Membership fee, it is good from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027, if you are a new to the StarSkate program or new to MFSC,  you will be invoiced for the fee, after you register for the program.

• Every program has an Administration Fee of $25.00 which is added on during check-out, this helps cover the costs associated with the online registration platform, credit cards and general administration.

• Classes are taught in a group lesson format.  

• Regular coaching fees are included in the class costs. 

• Make-up classes are not available.  Our classes tend to fill up and for scheduling, safety and regulatory rules we have a maximum number of skaters allowed on the ice surface.

• For packages A&B there is 1 mandatory Bingo shift commitment

• For package C there are 2 mandatory Bingo shift commitments (1 shift Sept-Dec and 1 shift Jan-Mar)

• Star 1-5 assessment fees are $23.00/assessment, this is an extra charge, you will be emailed when the skater is ready to assess.

• During the check-out phase you will be required to acknowledge our Clubs policies, procedures and will have a chance to opt-out of receiving emails from our Club.  If you choose to opt-out of emails we will not send you any notification of possible class changes or cancellations, special events or general Club information.  You will also not be notified if your skater is ready for an assessment.  

• For the first 15 minutes the Adult Junior StarSkaters may use the full ice surface (to do a warm-up then Dance and/or Free Skate, the following 45 minutes the Adult Junior StarSkaters will get ½ ice and the Teen/Adult CanSkate will get ½ ice.

• There is an additional $25 fee for the “payment plan” option to cover the transaction and administrative fees associated with recurring payments. Recurring payment plan fees will be charged monthly starting October 1st, and the last payment will be January 1st. Please note: Mayfield Figure Skating Club reserves the right to deny access to the payment plan. The payment plan fee and all membership fees must be received at the time of registration.
