Location: Callingwood Arena
Please note:
● Summer classes run every day for 5 consecutive days.
● If you are registering a skater in the Junior StarSkate program, the skater must be a current MFSC StarSkater or if your skater is from another Club, they must have passed at least 1 StarSkate assessment, proof of assessment must be emailed to mayfieldfsc@gmail.com.
● Every skater is responsible for purchasing a Skate Canada Membership & Safe Sport Fee which costs $61.65; you purchase these once and it covers all classes taken from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. If you do not have a current Skate Canada Membership, these fees are automatically added to your cart at the check-out. If you already have a Skate Canada Membership number from another Club (regardless of the year it was purchased), it is your responsibility to obtain the number and enter into our online registration system. If the Skate Canada number is current, the $61.65 membership fee will be waived.
● Every program has an Administration Fee ($10) which is added on during check-out, this helps cover the costs associated with the online registration platform, credit cards and general administration.
● During the check-out phase you will be required to acknowledge our Clubs policies, procedures and will have a chance to opt-out of receiving emails from our Club. If you choose to opt-out of emails we will not send you any notification of possible class changes or cancellations, special events or general Club information.
● In the unlikely event of a mechanical breakdown at Callingwood Arena, the City will work with us to provide an alternate arena.
● Please be sure you are signing up for a program that fits your schedule. A $50.00 fee is charged if you switch weeks, plus any other applicable costs.
● We have a zero refund policy. If you decide you don’t want to skate, we will not refund your money.
● Make-up classes are not available. Our classes tend to fill up and for safety and regulatory rules we have a maximum number of skaters allowed on the ice surface.
● If your skater quickly passes through the CanSkate program, we will move them up to Pre-StarSkate, there is no additional charge for this change.
