PowerSkate

                                            Spring 2026

                                                      Early Bird Special:

As of March 1, 2026 at 11:59PM, registration pricing will increase by $35/package

Register by choosing a program below.

If we do not meet the minimum number of registrants required to run the program, MFSC reserves the right cancel the program or move registrants to a new day/time slot.

Please note:

  • Every skater is responsible for purchasing a Skate Canada Membership & Safe Sport Fee which costs $61.65, you purchase it once and it covers all classes taken from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.  This fee is automatically added to your cart at the check-out.  If you already have a Skate Canada Membership number from another Club (regardless of the year it was purchased), it is your responsibility to obtain the number and enter into our online registration system.  If the Skate Canada number is current, the $61.65 membership fee will be waived.

  • Every program has an Administration Fee of $10.00 which is added on during check-out, this helps cover the costs associated with the online registration platform, credit cards and general administration.

  • During the check-out phase you will be required to acknowledge our Clubs policies, procedures and will have a chance to opt-out of receiving emails from our Club.  If you choose to opt-out of emails we will not send you any notification of possible class changes or cancellations, special events or general Club information.

  • We have a zero refund policy.  If you decide you don’t want to skate, we will not refund your money.

  • Make-up classes are not available.  Our classes tend to fill up and for safety, administration and regulatory rules we have a maximum number of skaters allowed on the ice surface.

  • Proper equipment is mandatory:  Lace-up hockey skates, a CSA approved hockey helmet (with face cage) and full hockey or ringette gear.

The CSA approved helmet may not be expired.

Lace-up skates (no plastic or hardmolded skates with velcro or snaps, no grow-with-me skates and no skates with clip-on or velcro-on                           blades).

  • If your skater is not in full and proper hockey or ringette  gear, your skater will not be allowed to skate and MFSC will not be held accountable/liable.

  • Report cards are handed out on the last skating class.  If your skater will not be at the last class, then the report card can be picked up on any of our Clubs skating days during the next session as long as the coaches are not instructing a class, otherwise you will have to wait until they are finished.

Classes are taught at Callingwood Arena & Terwillegar Arena

Mandatory Skating Requirements: Skater must have passed CanSkate, Stage 2 or have played                                                         hockey on a organized team for at least one year.
