If we do not meet the minimum number of registrants required to run the program, MFSC reserves the right cancel the program or move registrants to a new day/time slot. 

 

Please Note:

• Spring Classes run from April 8, 2024 - June 17, 2024

• There is no class on May 20, 2024

• Every skater is responsible for purchasing a Skate Canada Membership & Safe Sport Fee which costs $58.65, you purchase it once and it covers all classes taken from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024.  This fee is automatically added to your cart at the check-out.  If you already have a Skate Canada Membership number from another Club (regardless of the year it was purchased), it is your responsibility to obtain the number and enter into our online registration system.  If the Skate Canada number is current, the $58.65 membership fee will be waived.  None of the $58.65 stays at the Club level, all of this money goes directly to Skate Canada.

• Every program has an Administration Fee of $10.00 which is added on during check-out, this helps cover the costs associated with the online registration platform, credit cards and general administration.

• During the check-out phase you will be required to acknowledge our Clubs policies, procedures and will have a chance to opt-out of receiving emails from our Club.  If you choose to opt-out of emails we will not send you any notification of possible class changes or cancellations, special events or general Club information.  

• Please be sure you are signing up for a program that fits your schedule.  A $50.00 fee is charged if you switch days. 

• If you quickly pass through the Teen/Adult CanSkate program, we will move you up to Adult Junior StarSkate.  MFSC does not charge for switching programs if this occurs, however you are responsible for paying the class difference.

• We have a zero refund policy.  If you decide you don’t want to skate, we will not refund your money.

• Every skater must wear a CSA approved helmet, mittens/gloves and have lace-up skates.  If your skater is wearing a bike helmet, ski helmet or any other type of unapproved helmet they will not be allowed onto the ice.

• Report cards are handed out on the last skating class.  If you will not be at the last class, then the report card can be picked up on any of our Clubs skating days (at Callingwood Arena) during the next session as long as the coaches are not instructing a class, otherwise you will have to wait until they are finished.
